CEF 19xs is a military class TFT display from Control Express Finland. It is especially suitable for graphically
demanding applications, where its large resolution greatly enhances productivity and accuracy. The display element is
suspended to protect it from vibration and external bumps and shocks. Strong steel chassis covers the electronic parts.
Tempered glass protects the screen.
The fascia of the CEF 19xs military display meets the requirements of the industrial standard
IP65. The high protection class makes CEF 19xs suitable for use in the most extreme surroundings and conditions.
The native resolution of CEF 19xs is 1280 x 1024 pixels (SXGA-compatible), allowing for use of any regular graphics card
with it.
The picture on CEF 19xs is flicker-free and sharp and the display is capable of displaying the full gamut of over 16 million
colours. The display properties are easily optimized through an OSD (On-Screen Display) menu.
CEF 19xs is easy to install into a standard 19” rack. A VESA compliant 100 x 100 mm grid of screw holes is provided on the
backplane of the CEF 19xs display for installations on a tabletop stand or a wall/ceiling bracket.
For tabletop or ceiling installations, a stand is available as an option. The stand has full steel construction and weighs
approx. 8 kg.
There are one thermal element inside the display case. It operate automatically, switching on when the inside
temperature of the display falls below freezing and switching off when the temperature rises back to safe operating levels.
As a safety feature against freezing damage when the temperature is below 0 C° the power switch will first turn on the
thermal element and switch the display power on only after a safe operating temperature has been reached. In temperatures
close to -20 C° this can take up to minutes.
Unconditional crisis power up method: The heating element can be bypassed via keeping the power switch pressed for
3.5 seconds. The display will then power up immediately, without the warming up phase.
