CEF Tx is a military class 10Base-T/100Base-TX unmanaged switch. It provides you with an adaptable, easy to use, mobile, yet
extremely reliable solution for Ethernet switching between up to four RJ-45 connected end nodes operating at either
10 or 100 Mbps. There is also one 100 Mbps fiber optical backbone port - or an optional extra 10/100 Mbps RJ-45 Ethernet
port - available with a maximum operating distance of two kilometers.
Auto-negotiating 10/100 ports automatically detect speed and duplex modes of the devices connected to the switch and allow
CEF Tx to automatically configure the port settings for the best possible networking performance.
CEF Tx features a sturdy case made of aluminium to assure superior resistance to exterior effects like bumps, drops and
knocks. The CEF Tx chassis - cover and connectors included - has IP65 class protection,
meaning that it is completely dust resistant and protected against splashes and even jets of water.
Installation versatility is a must in a military class device. CEF Tx offers plenty of installation options. The case has
four fastening strap holes for mounting on almost any surface, ledge or projection. Six non-slip rubber feet are provided for
tabletop installations. The case design also makes the switches easily stackable. And last but not least, CEF Tx may also be
installed in a 19” rack with an optional rack installation kit.
